Exhibit: Catfish, Moonshine, Cattle on the Peavine: Surviving on Florida's Last Frontier

Catfish_layout_square

Catfish, Moonshine, Cattle on the Peavine is an exhibit depicting the pioneer families of the Big Lake Region. It is about resourceful, determined people who, confronted with a rapidly changing environment, made a conscious decision to remain free of the encumbrances of modern society. They earn their daily bread by using skills that are theirs by birthright.

The exhibit focuses on a handful of people in and around Lake Okeechobee. They represent many more who have made similar decisions about their futures.

The exhibit consists of 25 black and white photographs, six graphic text panels, artwork, six hanging banners, a DVD, and exhibit catalogs. The photographs are mounted on gatorboard and suitable for hanging or wall mounting.

The rental fee is $600.00 for 30 days. It is packed in reusable shipping containers for delivery by UPS. Arrangements can be made for pickup by your personnel or delivery by MOFAC. Freight and delivery charges and wall-to-wall insurance coverage are the responsibility of the renting agency.
